CHATTANOOGA EXPERIENCE FOR AN INTERNATIONAL FLOORING MANUFACTURER
An international flooring manufacturer chose Chattanooga as the destination to host its 2019 biannual meeting, held once every two years.
As the local experts, LEO provided event management, themed décor, lighting, entertainment, food and beverage coordination, and ticketing for five events over the course of five days – providing a classic Chattanooga experience for this international flooring manufacturer employee group and their families.
Attendees were welcomed to the Westin Chattanooga for the first evening event. The event was “Southern hospitality”-themed, welcoming attendees and their families to Chattanooga from all over the country. LEO Events organized themed décor, a solo multi-instrumentalist, a 9-hole mini golf course, oversized lawn games, and a “Paint Your Own Chattanooga Choo-Choo” station for the kids.
The following night, guests traveled to the Chattanooga Zoo for a carnival-themed evening. Attendees had access to everything the Zoo had to offer! LEO Events decorated a tent onsite with themed red and white lighting, a DJ, linens, and popcorn centerpieces. Guests sampled from food stations featuring street tacos and pizza, as well as classic carnival snacks like popcorn, cotton candy, and funnel cake fries—a hit with adults and children alike!
Next, adult attendees dressed to the nines for a formal dinner at the Hunter Museum of American Art. A live jazz quartet performed throughout cocktail hour and dinner. Guests were greeted with champagne and passed hors d’oeuvres as they entered the venue. LEO Events assisted with scenic lighting throughout, tablescapes, as well as coordinating the audio-visual components for a special awards presentation.
Throughout the weekend, LEO assisted with ticketing and coordinating for offsite tours at Ruby Falls, the Tennessee Aquarium, and High Point Rock Climbing.
Guests then toured the famous Rock City, where they had exclusive use of the venue’s Grandview Pavilion. Attendees explored Rock City, mined for gem stones, sang karaoke, and enjoyed ice cream from Clumpie’s – a local Chattanooga must-have. The pavilion was decorated with Rock City-themed finishes, such as gem stones and geodes, and each place setting featured rock candy for the attendees to enjoy.
On their final night in Chattanooga, guests attended a dinner buyout in downtown Chattanooga. LEO Events assisted with the event’s entertainment for the evening.
After experiencing several of Chattanooga’s most popular sites, it’s safe to say these guests are going to want to return time and time again.
